Wine Dinner

Looking for something new and unique? This might just be our most unique wine dinner ever. We are excited to welcome Paul Achs, owner/winemaker of his eponymous winery in Austria. This will be our first wine dinner featuring Austrian wines, and this winery just happens to specialize in red wine. And, they are red wines that you most probably have never had: Blaufrankisch, Zweigelt, St. Laurent, and more. Most importantly, the wines are excellent, and we will prepare a 5-course dinner to match.

The dinner is Tuesday May 9, 6pm. Cost is $75/person. Call 942.9100 to make your reservation.

Tuesday Tapas

Every Tuesday we feature a new menu (in addition to our regular menu) of appetizer-sized items for you to try. These unique small plate selections are great to share and a fun way to try new things.

Spanish Marcona Almonds The ‘Queen of Almonds’, fried and salted, with sliced apple

avocado and orange salad with arugula, green olives, balsamic vinaigrette

polenta grilled three cheese polenta topped with wild mushroom ragout

skewer miso glazed grass-fed beef tenderloin skewers, toasted sesame slaw

spring lamb stew new potatoes, vegetables, fresh herbs

Obscure Wine of the Month 

This month, we bring you Picpoul de Pinet. It comes to us from the Languedoc region of France and is one of the oldest grapes in that area. Picpoul has a soft, delicate nose and is deliciously crisp and refreshing. Satisfy your inner ‘wine geek’ and try something new.

Dinner for Two

Our ‘Dinner for Two’ feature is a great four-course meal that includes a bottle of wine and is possibly the best dining value in Grand Rapids. Every month we create a new menu using the best seasonal ingredients:

First Course: Mozzarella in Carrozza (one order to share)

Second Course: Marco Dinner Salad

Third Course:
Dijon-crusted pork tenderloin sweet potato hash and vegetable

Saffron risotto with shrimp, tomatoes and parmesan

Duck ragu braised with red wine, tomato and herbs, gemelli pasta

Fourth Course:

Caramel-bacon brownie sundae

Cherry Praline Bread Pudding
